Orthogonal sampling HSID: The state-of-the-art low and high flow interface for API 3000, IONICS EP10+, and API Q-Star

HSID is an atmospheric pressure interface that uses a combination of the influences of flow dynamics and electric fields to orthogonally extract ions into a heated laminar flow region. Efficient desolvation is
accomplished via energy transfer from the hot gas as the ions travel through multiple flow regions. Ions are then extracted at 90o into the low pressure region of the mass spectrometer.
