For ease of use we have added a number of useful features. The vacuum readings for the additional source- and collision cell gauges are connected to the analog inputs of the QTof. This enables acquisition of the pressure readings with the MS data. The collision energy is also connected to the analog inputs, and the collision energy is stored with the data as it is changed during an experiment. An integrated light source is added to the improved nanosource, consisting of a high intensity LED which is coupled to the source interlock.
