Figure 1 Collision cell pressure (green trace), collision energy (purple trace) and TIC for the analysis of GroEL (800kDa). The spectra show results at medium and high collisional energies.

Figure 2 shows fragmentation patterns at increasing collisional energies for Hepatitis B virus capsids, clearly showing ejection of dimer units (~33kDa) from the original assembly comprising 90 dimer units (~3MDa). Figure 3 shows the optimized singly charged distribution of polystyrene. In order to facilitate ESI cesium iodide was added. The various cluster series are clearly visible.
